Müller & Truniger dipl. Architekten ETH SIA was founded in 1994 by Andreas E. Müller and Daniel Truniger, shortly after completing their architecture studies at ETH. The starting signal was given by winning the community center competition in Jona, which is now a listed building. The two often worked together during their studies and after graduating, they assisted Prof. Hans Kollhoff for one and one-and-a-half years at Rudolf Manz's chair in the subject of "Spatial Capture and Spatial Representation with Video".

M&T like to deal with all kinds of different building tasks and their requirements. We look for the appropriate structural expression, based on the needs of the user and the potential of the respective location. It is always about creating added value for the user and the location.
In addition to the function, the cultural and local background is often a source of inspiration. The pursuit of the minimal ecological footprint or maximum flexibility of use, and generally considerations of sustainability in ecological, economic and social terms play an integral role in the design process and are seen as an enrichment of the task. However, the design must not be sacrificed to these aspects.

M&T 's core competence is the design, from the preliminary study to the implementation planning. Cost and scheduling planning, construction management and client representation are also part of their services.
M&T values ​​interdisciplinary teamwork with a wide variety of specialist planners, specialists and entrepreneurs. For larger projects, M&T works in partnership with construction management offices.
Andreas Müller and Daniel Truniger are members of the SIA (Swiss Association of Engineers and Architects) and are registered in REG A (Foundation of the Swiss Register of Engineers, Architects and Technicians).
