Curzio Ardinghi comes from an international family and grew up in Florence, where he also completed his master's degree in architecture at the renowned Università degli Studi di Firenze. He supplemented his studies with four semesters at RWTH Aachen. In 2002 he joined Andres Carosio Architekten AG in Zurich, where he became a member of the management team in 2010. In 2015 he opened his own office in Zurich, where he and his select team oversee new buildings, conversions and renovations from the initial design to the final implementation.
